*Description:*
Perform any combination of the following instructional tasks in classroom to assist teacher with the following duties.
Know and follow personnel policies, employee handbook, administrative directives, Colorado Child Care rules and regulations, and other guidance as may be provided.
Discuss assigned teaching area with classroom teacher to coordinate instructional efforts.
Plan, prepare, and develop various teaching aids, activities, or learning centers.
Assist students, individually or in groups, with activities to reinforce learning concepts and support development of new skills.
Engage children in activities to develop trust, stimulate brain development, enhance language acquisition and develop motor skills.
Meet child’s physical, emotional and social needs (i.
e.
changing diapers, assisting the group leader with transition at arrival, etc.
).
Conduct activities to complete Family and Community Partnership objectives as assigned.
Maintain confidentiality.
Serve meals to children in family style whenever possible and eat with children as a role model for developing good nutrition habits.
When cooking, you will prepare healthy and tasty meals and snacks for the children in our center.
Creating a menu and recipes that are in compliance with the USDA’s Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), you’ll ensure our children have the fuel they need to learn and grow.

Must have a valid Colorado driver's license or the ability to obtain prior to hire.
Must be able to successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
