Receive 40 Hours Paid Time Off Upon Hire Become a City of Grand Junction Parking Compliance Officer: The ideal candidate would be an Ambassador for the Grand Junction Police Department by providing information to the public regarding parking regulations, and the location of streets, buildings, and points of interest.
A Parking Compliance Officer patrols City parks, trails, facilities, and buildings to ensure compliance with City Codes, and parking rules and regulations.

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
What You'll Do: Patrol City parks, trails, facilities, and buildings by motorized vehicle, bicycle, or on foot to ensure compliance with City codes, parking rules, and regulations.
Exercise judgment and independent action within departmental and legal constraints to deter criminal and other undesirable activity.
Respond to calls regarding parking violations and complaints.
Write warnings and citations for illegally parked vehicles.
Ability to process, boot and tow vehicles as needed.
Help with other community related events and assignments as needed.
